Veterans Business Council to Host Annual Breakfast on Nov. 1
The Veterans Business Council of The Saratoga County Chamber of Commerce will host its annual breakfast at 7:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 1 at the Holiday Inn in Saratoga Springs. The morning of connection and camaraderie will feature a keynote by local veteran, author, and artist Ryan Smithson and is open to all to attend. Registration is $25 per person, and proceeds will benefit the programs and mission of the Veterans Business Council.

CTE Works! brings students from 8th to 12th grade, from school districts throughout the WSWHE BOCES service area, to a one-day interactive career exploration event to expose students to the world of work in the local region and showcase the myriad of career opportunities available right in their own backyard.

Broadview and CDPHP, in a joint effort to give back to the community, today collaborated with the Mechanicville-based chapter of the not-for-profit organization Sleep in Heavenly Peace to build 80 beds for children in need. Sleep in Heavenly Peace provides safe and comfortable beds for children who may otherwise sleep on the floor.

Double H Ranch Breaks Ground on Circle H Lodge: One of Four areas of focus for a $5.5 million Capital Campaign
The Double H Ranch in Lake Luzerne, New York, broke ground on Circle H Lodge, a new residential lodge for camp staff and volunteers, on Friday, September 22, 2023. Double H Ranch launched its public phase of a $5.5 million capital campaign project in March 2023 to support four areas of focus: the new Residential Lodge, Adaptive Playground, Outdoor Pavilion expansion, and Camp-A-Theater. Backed unanimously by its Board of Directors, the Double H Ranch has secured $5.3 million of its goal.
