SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. — New Kids on the Block, joined by Paula Abdul and DJ Jazzy Jeff, visited the Spa City this week as part of the group's Magic Summer 2024 tour.
Thousands of fans flocked to the Saratoga Springs venue ready for an evening of '90s nostalgia - and all three acts delivered.
DJ Jazzy Jeff, known for his role on The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, got the audience warmed up with a fun, high-energy set that had concertgoers singing and dancing.
Next up, Paula Abdul proved to the crowd that she can still perform at age 62. The star and her support dancers presented a well-choreographed show that brought fans on a journey through Abdul's career, featuring hits like "Straight Up," "Cold Hearted" and "Forever Your Girl."
Finally, the fans went wild when Joey McIntyre, Jonathan Knight, Donnie Wahlberg, Danny Wood and Jordan Knight took the stage as New Kids on The Block. The guys gave it their all during the headlining set, from iconic dance moves and heartfelt harmonies to inviting audience members on stage multiple times throughout the night. Highlights of the show included "Magic," from the band's most recent release Still Kids, as well as old favorites such as "You Got It (The Right Stuff)" and "Step by Step."
Sunday's concert kicked off a trio of SPAC shows, continuing with Primus on Monday, Aug. 12 and The Doobie Brothers on Tuesday, Aug. 13.
