Swirling Star Bowl/Basket with Beverly Cornelius. #909-0730.

The base of this beautiful bowl reminds me of an American Quilt Block. Students will learn a bit of patterned weaving to create the base of this basket. The bulk of the rest of the weaving is a continuous weave that results in the swirl effect seen in the bowl. Beautiful inside and out. This class is intended for students with basket weaving experience. Level: Intermediate to Advanced. Approximate finished size: 15"diameter x 4-6"deep.

NOTE:  Students to bring to class: Basin for water, sheetrock knife, an old towel and washcloth, clip clothespins, and a spray bottle. Teacher will provide dyed reed for this project.
