On Rockwell: Tom Daly from the Norman Rockwell Museum
Learn about the powerful images that Norman Rockwell created during the Civil Rights Movement of the 1960s. Norman Rockwell Museum?s curator of education, Tom Daly, will share the stories behind the creation of such paintings as The Problem We All Live With, Murder in Mississippi, and New Kids in the Neighborhood, as well as Rockwell?s dedication to Civil Rights throughout his career. Tom Daly has served tens of thousands of pre-K to graduate-level students in his programs, lectured at colleges and museums across the country, and written many articles about Norman Rockwell and the work that Rockwell created during his nearly 70-year career as an illustrator.
