A favorite basket is like an old friend, the one you grab first for a project, one you can count on and one that is totally suited to you. Woven on an oak D-handle, this basket offers a choice of techniques with which to weave a sturdy solid bottom, using color which coordinates with the students' choice of patterns to weave up the sides. A variety of embellishments from fabric to pottery may be added to the finished piece, weaving together your purpose and aesthetic. Dimensions are approximately 18 inches long, 12 inches wide, 7 inches high at the sides and 12-16 inches high at the handle, depending on choice.
