ARTS FEST FRIDAYS Light the Night

On Friday, September 9th, Saratoga Springs will be getting a “sneak peek” of a major, multi-city public art installation that will be attracting national attention to Capital Region.  Arts Fest Friday LIGHT THE NIGHT Event, an evening of arts and entertainment at Spring Street Gallery, will feature music, food, activities, and the region’s first glimpse of the “Breathing Lights” public art project, coming to Albany, Schenectady and Troy in October 2016.  Artist Adam Frelin will greet visitors and “turn on the lights” during the free Arts Fest Friday LIGHT THE NIGHT event.   Entertainment at Arts Fest Friday LIGHT THE NIGHT includes a light installation by artist Brent Pickerd titled “Flora Lux,” music by D.J. Tall Matt, beer tasting by Glens Falls brewery Common Roots, surprise street performances, children’s activities by On Deck Saratoga and much more.  Presented by Saratoga Chamber of Commerce,  SaratogaArtsFest and Spring Street Gallery
