Return to your college days to benefit Project Lift, a program of Franklin Community Center
We've got the perfect way for you to reminisce about your college days while giving back to the community—but this time around, you get to choose the classes that interest you, without breaking the bank!
On 10/9/14, Franklin Community Center and Longfellows will host Project Lift University, a unique and exciting fundraiser to benefit the agency’s after school prevention program, Project Lift.
In the spirit of education, and in an effort to switch things up from the typical gala-style fundraisers that populate the summer season, Project Lift University is a light-hearted, casual event that is as unique as the program itself.
The academic-inspired evening will allow event-goers to register for “classes” with talented local professionals, who will act as “professors” by donating their time to teach a class (classes will be scheduled for a later date, so bring your calendar). Attendees who sign up for classes will pay the “registration fee”, but instead of paying the “professor”, all proceeds will benefit Project Lift. It’s a great way to sign up for a topic that interests you, while also making a difference in the lives of local kids.
