SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. – The Veterans Business Council of The Saratoga County Chamber of Commerce is presenting an opportunity to honor veterans, make connections and hear from an inspiring military leader at the annual VBC Veterans Breakfast.
This yearly event, scheduled for 8 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 4 at the Holiday Inn in Saratoga Springs, celebrates area veterans while supporting scholarship, career development and business training programs for area veterans.
The morning of connection and camaraderie will feature recognition of the council’s year-round work along with a keynote address from retired United States Navy Rear Admiral Garry R. White.
White is a TOPGUN graduate and nuclear-qualified carrier commander whose distinguished career includes serving as Commanding Officer of the USS Arctic and the USS George Washington.
Today, White is president of Excelsior Enterprises, a diverse consulting and investment firm. In this capacity he draws on his years of experience as a corporate executive and military leader to benefit executive and corporate clients. In addition to executive coaching, the Saratoga Springs resident uses his broad and extensive expertise to provide specific technical assistance to a wide variety of customers.
"The Veterans Business Council Annual Breakfast is a wonderful way to build connections, celebrate military service and support the next generation of veterans and leaders in our community,” said Joseph Juracka, Chair of the Veterans Business Council of The Saratoga County Chamber of Commerce, noting that the annual gathering helps the Veterans Business Council fulfill its mission of creating opportunities for Saratoga County veterans.
