Expo to feature energy saving products and services for your home and workplace as well as a showroom with nearly 20 electric cars and trucks in one place
Saratoga Springs, NY – The Saratoga County Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce a new, first-of-its-kind event that will highlight the latest in energy-efficient products and services available in the Capital Region.
The Saratoga Big E Consumer Showcase will take place from 4 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, March 20 at the Saratoga Springs City Center, located at 522 Broadway in Saratoga Springs. Attendance is free for all residents, property owners, businesses, and nonprofit organizations.
A total of 17 different EVs, hybrids, and plug-in vehicles will be exhibited by local dealers, giving attendees the ability to see, touch, sit in, and explore many different options - all in one place. They are the Chevy Bolt, Equinox, and Blazer; Toyota BZ4X, Crown Signia, and Prius Prime; Ford Mustang Mach-E and the Ford F150 Lightning; GMC Hummer and Sierra; Cadillac Lyriq; Mitsubishi Outlander; Nissan Ariya; Hyundai Ionic S; Honda Prologue; Acura ZDX; and Jeep Wrangler 4xe Willys '41 special edition.
Additionally, CDTA will be there with an electric bus, car, bikes, and scooters!
Kasselman Solar, Hudson Solar Solutions and Solar Environment will be on site to talk about residential and commercial solar projects, and Energy Catalyst Technologies will provide expert guidance on geothermal systems while Hot Water Solutions will show attendees heat pump options.
Phinney Design will showcase plans for Riley Farms, a first-of-its-kind sustainable green building development in Saratoga, and Peak Environmental will talk with attendees about its eco-friendly landscape care packages.
Earl B. Feiden will display energy efficient appliances, and Allerdice Hardware will exhibit battery powered lawn mowers, snowblowers, and other tools.
Mr. Electric will advise attendees about options to set up home and office electric charging stations, and EnergyNext will help consumers to explore ways to lower their natural gas and electric supply costs.
National Grid will provide attendees with information to explain all the tax incentives and rebates available for the purchase and installation of these energy-saving, renewable, and electric products.
Soleno will showcase its high-density polyethylene products that are cost-effective and the most environmentally friendly option for water management.
Hoffman Car Wash will be at the showcase too distributing free car wash coupons to attendees.
The showcase is designed to feature something for all event-goers who are looking to take a step toward achieving greater energy efficiency.
