Pint Sized Opens Its New Location At 33 Phila Street In Downtown Saratoga Springs With A Bigger Space And Expanded Offerings
Full Bar Offerings Carry Over To Its Albany Location Mid-December
SARATOGA SPRINGS, NY -- Pint Sized is officially open at its new and improved location at 33 Phila Street in downtown Saratoga Springs. The popular bar quietly shifted its operations from its original 489 Broadway spot to its new home at 33 Phila Street this past Thursday November 13th to a consistently full bar of both loyal patrons and new customers. A ribbon cutting is scheduled for Friday December 5th at 2 PM with the Saratoga County Chamber of Commerce to officially celebrate the expansion of business at this new location.
Hours at the new space are Monday through Saturday Noon to 1 AM & Sunday Noon to 10 PM. Closes are soft and often push hours even later. Aggressive promotional deals every day of the week continue at the new space with the following - Monday Industry Nite ($2 off mixed drinks & functional beverages as well as $1 off dad beers), Tuesday Can Nite ($2 off craft beer cans), Wednesday All Day Happy Hour ($1 off drafts & $2 off shots), Thursday Top It Off Thursday (16oz pour 10oz price) as well as its Happy Hour ($1 off taps).
At approximately three times the size, the bigger footprint at 33 Phils Street offers Pint Sized opportunities that weren’t possible at its humble beginnings at 489 Broadway. The bar is now fully equipped with the necessary components for a full liquor program with mixed drinks. Prior to this expansion liquor offerings were limited as ice was not previously available. This full bar program will also carry over to it’s Albany location at 250 Lark Street which further compliments a strong year of growth which saw 20% more sales so far in 2025. Even though customer preferences are changing in the bar space, this has been a very good year for Pint Sized as it continually pivots to changes in the market. The space also lends itself to amusements housing a pool table, dart board, rotating pinball machine and half a dozen arcade cabinets offering customers 70 gaming options to keep patrons entertained Busy Soft Opening Day At 33 Phila Street in the space.
The space also has a wall of televisions and a 10’ projector screen to display key sports games, movies and more. Events like live music, karaoke and more will trickle in starting February.
“With so much extra space our focus was on how to make the place as fun as possible”, said August Rosa the owner of Pint Sized. “I opted for games and ideas that would engage guests. I wanted to keep the space as open as possible fostering the congregation that you would see in a classic pub.”
On top of all the improvements on the Pint Sized front their good friends Herbies Burgers is subleasing the kitchen area and has a counter space offering smash burgers, chicken sandwiches / tenders, fries and shakes every day of the week from 11 AM to 2 AM. This is the first time a significant food option is available in a Pint Sized space. It is also one of the rare opportunities to enjoy food at a bar after midnight in Saratoga Springs.
While leaving its basement spot at 489 Broadway is bittersweet, Pint Sized is thrilled about what the future has in store at 33 Phila Street. The original spot will continue to operate Friday and Saturday evenings from 5 PM to Midnight to offer loyal customers a couple final chances to enjoy a pint in the old space. Send off events in December include live music, DJs, karaoke & a fake funeral service for the space on December 19th where guests are encouraged to wear funeral attire for a discount and pay respects to the space equipped with a casket, floral arrangements and more.
“I will miss the old location”, says Rosa. “The basement spot at 489 Broadway changed my life and I am forever grateful for the memories in the space. That being said I am thrilled for our new opportunity and to be part of a wave of energy on Phila Street. This is one of my dream spots in Saratoga Springs and we are grounded here for the next decade. Our first week went very smooth and I can already tell people are stoked about the new spot. I am excited to see how the place evolves.”
