Epilepsy Foundation of Northeastern New York names new officers

ALBANY, N.Y. — Recently, the Epilepsy Foundation of Northeastern New York elected four members to hold executive board positions.

The four officers, elected to two-year terms include:

President – Betty DiMaria was named the newest president of the foundation’s board of directors. Betty is the Program Administrator, Business Internships, and Professional Development at The College of Saint Rose.

Vice President – Nick Zarrelli was elected to serve as Vice President. Nick is employed by the Arrow Financial Corporation where he serves as the AVP and Business Banking Relationship Manager at Saratoga National Bank.

Treasurer – Michael Brunell has been elected Treasurer. Michael is Principal at MMB + CO and Owner of Brunell Wealth Management.

Secretary – Ryan Senecal was elected to serve on the board as Secretary. Ryan works as a Member Service Advisor at SEFCU, now Broadview.

EFNENY is excited to welcome these board members and thank them for their dedication to the foundation’s mission.

Kevin Volk will remain in the Past President position. Kevin retired from the New York State Assembly, and also volunteers his time at several of the organization’s annual events. His tenure with the Foundation provides the team with valuable insight.

The Epilepsy Foundation is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors composed of individuals with a variety of professional backgrounds. They are always looking for new individuals to share their time and talents.
