Epilepsy Foundation of Northeastern New York hosts 15th Annual Walk to END EPILEPSY

SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. — The Epilepsy Foundation of Northeastern New York (EFNENY) is set to host its 15th Annual Walk to END EPILEPSY on Sunday, September 10th at the Saratoga Spa State Park. 

The EFNENY team, as well as local community volunteers, will host walkers for a day of giveaways, delicious food, entertainment, raffles, and taking strides together towards fighting epilepsy! There is no cost to register for the event. Fundraising is encouraged. Food will be available to purchase from local food truck
 vendors including Kona Ice and Big Bellies. Registration opens at 9:30. The Walk steps off at 11:00. The walk will be a hybrid event again this year, being held both at the Saratoga Spa State Park, The Arrowhead Park in Inlet, NY, and wherever you may choose to walk.

All the money raised remains right here in our community, supporting programs and services for families affected by epilepsy. Epilepsy affects over 45,000 people in northeastern New York.”

Epilepsy is a neurological disorder defined as having two or more recurring seizures; it can happen to anyone, at any age, at any time. 1 in 26 people will be diagnosed with epilepsy in their lifetime.
