AIM Services and Saratoga County Chamber host fifth annual Reverse Job Fair
SARATOGA SPRINGS, NY — The fifth annual Reverse Job Fair, an innovative event geared toward building a more inclusive workforce, is happening soon in the Spa City.
The event is scheduled for 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 3, 2026, at the Embassy Suites at 86 Congress St. in Saratoga Springs. It is presented by AIM Services, Inc., a nonprofit that provides services and care for people with disabilities, in partnership with the Saratoga County Chamber of Commerce.
The Reverse Job Fair model flips the traditional job fair structure. Job seekers are stationed at individual tables where they present their resumes, skill sets, and career goals to employers and hiring managers that are moving around the room. Employers and hiring managers move throughout the space, meeting candidates and sharing information about current job openings, workplace culture, and growth opportunities.
Designed to foster more meaningful connections, the fair also features private tables for on-the-spot, one-on-one interviews, making it easier for both employers and candidates to take immediate next steps.
“Everyone deserves the opportunity to contribute, build skills and take pride in their work,” said Chris Lyons, CEO of AIM Services. “People with disabilities bring tremendous value to the workplace and have consistently demonstrated their dedication, reliability and ability to succeed. We encourage local businesses to take part in the Reverse Job Fair, connect with talented job seekers, and discover the potential of an often-overlooked workforce.”
Saratoga County Chamber of Commerce president Todd Shimkus noted how the Reverse Job Fair can help area employers fill current hiring needs. “We are very proud to be part of that initiative for a fifth year, and once again look forward to connecting employers with qualified future employees,” he said, urging hiring mangers to take part. “Employers who attend this event might just find a new employee and make a difference in that person’s life.”
