Driver helpers ride on delivery trucks, assisting the Driver with the delivery of cases and kegs of beverage products. The Driver Helper helps put away products at accounts and ensures the product is properly merchandised and rotated for freshness. This job is physically rigorous and starts early in the morning.
Full-Time: Tuesday-Friday with a start time between 2:30am - 6:30am.
Base Pay: $21.00/hr.

Job Summary:
Driver Helpers assist the Driver with whom they are assigned with safe and timely delivery and merchandising of beverage products. The Driver Helper is responsible for providing superior customer service while performing his/her duties.

Essential Functions:
Business
- On a daily basis, delivers the customer-purchased product to assigned accounts
- Stock coolers and shelves neatly with product, and ensure proper rotation of product with every delivery
- Picks up all empty cases and or kegs at their respective stops daily
- Ensures all safety policies and other Company policies and procedures are adhered to all times
People
- Communicates with customers and co-workers as needed to ensure superior customer service
- Communicates all problems or issues to immediate supervisor without delay
- Reports and resolves all customer service issues both internal and external in a timely manner
- Responsible for the communication and documentation of all accident, incidents, and injuries which occur in the delivery function
Self-Organization
- Demonstrates the ability to evaluate and solve problems
- Able to complete tasks in the committed timeframe
- Able to adapt to changes and demonstrate flexibility to overcome obstacles
Required Skills:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Valid NYS Driver’s License with satisfactory driving record
- 2 years’ general employment experience required, related delivery and/or merchandising experience preferred.
- Ability to work additional hours, as needed.
- Must speak to supervisor to notify him/her any time prior to the beginning of work shift when calling in sick. Voice mail, text messaging or e-mail messages are not acceptable replacements
- Required to wear company-issued apparel and personal protective equipment
- Responsible use and maintenance of company-issued equipment
Work Shift Requirements:
- Ability to work additional hours, as needed

Environment & Physical Demands
- Work safely and follow all OSHA regulations and company safety policies and procedures

- Ability to lift, push, pull up to 165lbs. with/without assistance
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, squat, bend, twist, reach, balance, grasp
