Maintenance Part Time Position

Reports to: Facilities Manager
POSITION OVERVIEW
This position is open for a part-time non-exempt maintenance person who will help maintain the National Museum of Racing and Hall of Fame’s 46,000 square foot facility and Museum grounds. This position reports to the Facility Manager.
 
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
*Cleans and maintains the Museum, including the galleries, restrooms, public areas, parking lot.
*Sets up and tears down tables, chairs, staging, audio-visual equipment, etc.
*Helps to maintain exterior cleanliness and landscaping.
*Snow removal and salting of walks during Museum hours.
*Painting as needed
*Removes and disposes of waste.
*Work hours vary by needs of facility and schedule of events
*Other duties as assigned.
 
QUALIFICATIONS AND CHARACTERISTICS
* Requires high school diploma.
* Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
* Must be flexible to work long or unusual hours, including holidays and weekends.
* Be able to climb stairs or ladders.
 
HOURS
* Paid lunch break
* $18 per hour
* Weekend availability required
