Ice Cream/Shop Sales Associate
Location: Cookies & Cream in Malta NY (3 miles from downtown Saratoga, Across from The Ripe Tomato on Route 9)

Job Description: As a Sales Associate/Ice Cream Scooper, you will be at the forefront of creating great experiences for our customers. Your role will include:
Greeting and assisting customers with a smile, scooping up mouthwatering ice cream creations, recommending the perfect gifts for every occasion, operating the cash register with precision, keeping our shop stocked and clean and inviting. Ice Cream Scooper Duties: (Hours 11:30a to 8:30p)
- Welcome guests with a warm smile, ready to share the scoop on our delectable ice cream offerings.
- Expertly scoop and serve our mouthwatering ice cream flavors, making each cone a masterpiece.
- Craft delicious sundaes that light up our customers' faces with delight.
- Keep our ice cream station well-stocked and impeccably clean.
- Engage with guests, offer flavor recommendations, and answer their questions.
- Handle cash transactions with precision and a friendly attitude.
Gift Shop Attendant Duties: (Hours vary, shop hours 7a to 5p most days)
- Guide customers through our enchanting gift shop, helping them uncover hidden gems.
- Maintain the gift shop's appealing appearance, showcasing our unique merchandise.
- Share the stories behind our special gift items and assist with customer inquiries.
- Ring up sales for gift shop purchases, adding a personal touch to every transaction.
- Keep the gift shop area inviting and organized, creating an enjoyable shopping experience.
- Provide exceptional customer service, turning each visit into a memorable journey.
Fudge and Candies Attendant Duties: (Hours same as gift shop)
- Present our delectable array of fudge and candies with enthusiasm and knowledge.
- Offer samples and recommendations to customers, tantalizing their taste buds.
- Maintain the fudge and candy displays, ensuring they are well-organized and visually appealing.
- Handle fudge and candy sales transactions with precision and a smile.
- Keep the fudge and candies area clean and alluring.
Qualifications:
- A passion for delivering exceptional customer service and spreading joy.
- A friendly and approachable personality with top-notch communication skills.
- A love for ice cream, fudge, candies (tastings are encouraged!), and an eye for charming gifts.
- Proficiency in handling cash transactions accurately.

- High school diploma or equivalent.
