- Salary: $23.90 - $28.54 Hourly
Responsibilities:
- Oversees and actively participates in the workflow of all warehouse and shipping and receiving activities for assigned facility, ensuring efficient utilization of team members and available resources, while ensuring KPI’s and company objectives are achieved.
- Manages and oversees the parts inventory for assigned facility, reviews and recommends returns, manages cycle counts and adjustments, assists with the cataloging of parts and materials, and organizes the storage of materials to achieve the most efficient warehouse operations.
- Fosters and promotes positive relations with customers, vendors, and distributors by obtaining information on products from suppliers; working with internal customers and managers to identify and assist with material needs; and effectively communicating and resolving problems and concerns.
- Manages and oversees freight activities including evaluating outboard freight invoices before payment and filing, maintaining, and processing freight claims.
- Serves as a direct supervisor to Shipping & Receiving Clerk and Parts Delivery Drivers for assigned facility, with focus on establishing and maintaining a positive team culture.
Minimum Requirements of the position are:
- Associates degree in management, administration, retail, merchandising, supply chain or any related field of study or equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
- Minimum of five (5) years of progressively responsible parts warehouse experience, including a minimum of (2) two years supervisory or management experience.
- Computer proficiency in web-based programs and applications, Microsoft Office Suite applications and related departmental software (including parts inventory and dealer management systems), to include researching and looking up information.
- Demonstrates high-level of heavy-duty parts bus/truck parts knowledge.
- Forklift experience required, certification highly desired.
- Valid Driver’s License for New York State or for the state of residence.
