Administrative Assistant

Galarneau Builders is an established residential and commercial building and remodeling company located at 526 Maple Avenue, Saratoga Springs, NY. Since 1980, we have built a reputation for quality craftsmanship and exceptional customer service. Through our affiliate, Saratoga Kitchens & Baths, we also specialize in kitchens, bathrooms, additions, and complete home renovations.
We are currently seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant to join our team immediately.
Position Overview
This is a full-time, in-office position supporting our construction, remodeling, and design teams. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and enjoys working in a fast-paced office environment while providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities

  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls
  • Provide administrative support to office staff
  • Assist with Bookkeeping tasks
  • Assist with payroll and other accounting-related duties
  • Create and maintain engaging social media content to promote company projects, services, and events across various platforms.
  • Maintain organized files and office records
  • Order office supplies and assist with general office operations
  • Communicate professionally with customers, subcontractors, and vendors
  • Help coordinate daily office activities and support team members as needed
Qualifications
  • Previous administrative assistant experience helpful
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Social media, marketing experience is a plus
  • QuickBooks experience is a plus
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Positive attitude with a willingness to help wherever needed
  • Self-motivated with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently while contributing as part of a team

Monday–Friday

8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
