Special Creek Bluegrass Band

Special Creek is a fresh new face in the regional bluegrass scene. They launched their partnership at a bluegrass festival in Vermont in July, 2005. Looking for hot pickers to jam with, it didn't take long for Bob, Dave, and Paul to "find each other." It wasn't long before they grew to a quintet and they've been playing together nicely ever since. Special Creek's music is based in traditional bluegrass, yet each member brings his own rich experience to the mix, be it in rock, jazz, old time, or folk. They have fun playing together, and it shows! Paul Vinsel of Saratoga Springs plays bluegrass and clawhammer banjo; Bob Zink of Rock City Falls plays upright bass; Bill Healy of East Glenville plays mandolin and guitar; Dave Abbott of Glens Falls plays fiddle and guitar; Russell Serrianne, also of Glens Falls, is the guitarist. All members are certain to vocalize repeatedly at each performance!
