Congregation Shaara Tfille/The Jewish Community Center presents a “Songs of the Sixties Concert!”

Congregation Shaara Tfille and The Jewish Community Center of Saratoga Springs is pleased to announce that their Spiritual Leader, Rabbi and Cantor Ken Blatt will present a “Songs of the Sixties Concert”, accompanied on keyboard by Art Isenberg, on Sunday, June 3rd at 2:00pm. The program will feature a musical journey through this turbulent decade performed in their beautiful sanctuary. Join them as he revisits some of the great hits of the Beatles, Burt Bacharach & Hal David, Carole King, Henry Mancini & Johnny Mercer, Petula Clark, Leslie Bricusse, Jerry Herman, Frank Sinatra, Antonio Carlos Jobim as well as a segment of Jewish songs. The afternoon will include a 60’s Super Supper Buffet. Tickets for the concert and dinner are $18.00 per person in advance or $20.00 at the door. Rabbi Ken Blatt has engaged audiences in cabarets, theaters, hotel and condo showrooms and cultural centers, singing the songs of the Great American Songbook, Broadway, Pop Hits and International classics from the 1930’s to the present.
