Seminar--Financial Governance of Non-Profits: A Board Perspective - 01/10/2013
This is an interactive workshop which will address the fiscal responsibilities of boards at non-profits.

Director Frank Venezia, CPA and Krieger Solutions, LLC President and Founder Alan Krieger will host a two-hour interactive workshop titled, “Financial Governance of Non-Profits: A Board Perspective” at Manfred Learning Center, 920 Albany Shaker Rd., Latham. Among other topics, attendees will learn about the purpose and goals of a fiscal management system, how to minimize the risk of fraud or financial mismanagement, how to read financial reports, how to increase accountability and oversight, and the board’s interaction with internal and external auditors.
