Run For The Horses 5K and Kids Fun Run - 08/31/2012

Road Race to benefit the Thoroughbred Retirement Foundation

The 3rd Annual Run For The Horses 5K and Kids Fun Run will take place in the beautiful, historic Saratoga Spa State Park. The course is certified by USA Track & Field. Official race tee-shirt to first 150 registrants. Trophies and medals to top 3 male and female finishers overall and in each age category (by decade). All Kids Fun Run participants receive a special medal. Refreshments provided after the race. All proceeds benefit the Saratoga Springs-based Thoroughbred Retirement Foundation, the largest equine sanctuary in the world dedicated to saving Thoroughbred horses, no longer able to compete on the racetrack, from possible neglect, abuse, and slaughter. (Please note that ALL vehicles must park in the southwest corner of the SPAC parking lot off Route 50. For safety, absolutely no cars are permitted at the Orenda Pavilion.)
