Make a Basic Native American Kustowah (Headdress) with David Cornelius. #1245-1013. 1/2 day.
Native American Kustowahs or Headdresses are feathered headgear traditionally worn by male leaders of the various Native American nations who have earned a place of great respect in their tribe. They are primarily used for ceremonial occasions. Students will use wide reed to create their own Kustowah. Feathers will be attached using sinew and traditional techniques. Children who are 10 years of age and older are welcome.
