Romantic entanglements and laughs abound as "Maxine and Stephanie" try to keep up their act.

Two washed-up Shakespearean actors hit bottom – performing "Scenes from Shakespeare" on the Moose Lodge circuit in Amish country. When they hear a nearby elderly woman is leaving her fortune to her two long-lost nephews, they try to pass themselves off as her beloved relatives and get the cash. The trouble is, her relatives aren't nephews, but nieces!
