Iroquois Games and Dancing with David Cornelius #1116-0916. 1/2 day.
Come enjoy activities based on Native American culture and traditions. The life of our Native Americans included a great deal of communal time. Much of this time was spent playing games and dancing. In this class students will have a chance to learn and play several of these games. Some are familiar like Lacrosse and others such as Double Ball are less known. Dancing was enjoyed by all members of the family from toddlers to elders. Some dances were just for women and some just for men, while others were for everyone. Students will learn some of the basics of all three. Learn about the relationship between Native Americans and nature while dancing and playing.
