This class is designed for students who have had either an introductory chip carving class or who have learned chip carving on their own initiative. Intermediate students will continue with guided instruction; advanced students may bring their own projects and receive instructor guidance. Some projects that will be covered will be chip carved lettering and grids. Students will also have an opportunity to design and execute either a practice board or a plaque carving. The instructor will provide models of both. This class will give students a great opportunity to improve their carving skills and give them a completed piece of their own craftmanship to take home.
