Impact Sector Session - Owning Your Impact
Hear from experts on various topics and connect with other Impact Sector members! These sessions provide both knowledge and networking to help area non-profit organizations.
This session's topic:
Owning Your Impact: Strategies for making an effective ask to grant-making organizations and corporate funders.
Presented by:
Bo Goliber
Chief Strategy and Impact Officer
The Charlton School
About Bo Goliber:
Bo Goliber possesses a "Big Picture" point of view with a deep understanding of the delicate blend between nonprofit organizations and their corporate/community partners. Her meaningful career spans over two decades, primarily in Saratoga County, with mission-driven roles that have strengthened communities. She is currently the Chief Strategy and Impact Officer at The Charlton School. Following a few early years in the news business, Bo spent her first ten years in Saratoga with Franklin Community Center, followed by eight years as Head of Philanthropy at healthcare marketing firm, Fingerpaint, and most recently, with just under four years as Chief Development and Communications Officer at AIM Services. As an enthusiastic story-teller and relationship builder, Bo’s passion for authentically connecting with others has helped to raise the profiles and significant funds for worthy causes in the Capital Region. Her knowledge of being both the "asker" and the "funder" gives her a unique perspective worth sharing with others in the nonprofit world.
Please Note: This meeting is strictly for member non-profit organizations, board members and volunteers for member organizations. At the time of registering, if you are a volunteer or board member of a member organization, please write in the note description.
