Social media marketing, virtual meetings, digitized records are all examples of the ways technology has transformed how we do business. Large Language Models like ChatGPT are another new tool in the arsenal of business. And whether you realize it or not, Artificial Intelligence is well-integrated into our world.
 
This discussion will talk about how AI is currently used and how it could continue to improve productivity and simplify HR processes. More importantly, we’ll talk about the realistic risks associated with AI, some of the new legal frameworks regarding it usage, and what we think you can do to prepare your HR department and company for this new wave of tech.
 
Expected outcomes/goals:
Participants will have a firm understanding of the functional uses of Artificial Intelligence and Large Language Models (LLMs), including popular platforms like ChatGPT.
 
Participants will learn about the benefits of AI and LLMs including how to use these as tools for HR functions, including increased productivity for content creation, decreased error in standard communications, and data analysis.
 
Participants will learn about potential and realistic risks associated with AI and LLMs, including copyright and intellectual property concerns and issues with confidentiality and data mining.
