The Adirondack Folk School will host its annual Blacksmith Instructor Rendezvous in the Forge. This is a unique gathering of our renowned blacksmith instructors who will be collaborating and working on behalf of AFS and advancement of blacksmithing. Join us for a fun, free event where you can watch premier blacksmiths ply their craft, listen to lively, foot-stomping music and buy some ice cream to cool off in the summer heat.
The event will take place on the school grounds overlooking the Hudson with live music.

The Adirondack Folk School seeks to preserve Adirondack arts, crafts and culture through a diverse offering of more than 200 classes each year. The school is known for having one of the best blacksmithing teaching facilities in the country. Classes are also offered on fiber arts, rustic furniture making, canoe building, jewelry, woodworking, basketry, nature studies and lots more.
