Free CPR & AED Seminar
June 1 -7 is CPR and AED awareness week. To give back to the community, Adirondack Health & Wellness is providing a free educational seminar on June 1 from 11AM to 12PM on how to properly perform CPR and the right technique on using an Automated External Defibrillator (AED). When someone stops breathing or the hearts stops beating, he or she can survive for only 4 to 6 minutes before lack of oxygen can result in brain damage or death. Sadly, 70% of all Americans feel helpless to act in a cardiac emergency because they are either afraid, or lack proper training. Adirondack Health & Wellness will give an interactive presentation regarding these lifesaving skills to help the community become better prepared to act in emergency situations. Please note, this is not a certification class. This is a great opportunity for Parents, Grandparents, Childcare Providers...and the list goes on! Anyone who is interested in learning how to save a life! Registration is required. Please call us at 518-886-8251 or, email us at info@adkhw.com to reserve your spot. We look forward to meeting you! Thanks!
