Equine Event with Schleese Saddles - 06/22/2011
Equine Event with Schleese Saddles (Saddlefit 4 life)
Route 67 Café is proud to welcome Jochen Schleese, founder of Saddlefit 4 life. Jochen will be conducting an educational seminar on the science of saddle fitting including horse and rider anatomy. Topics to be discussed include solutions for rider back, hip and crotch pain--as well as sore back, resistance, behavioral issues, and undiagnosed lameness in the horse. Prevent long term damage caused by ill-fitting tack and learn what to look for when purchasing a saddle. All disciplines welcome. Headquartered in Ontario, Canada, Schleese Saddlery is owned and operated by Certified Master Saddler Jochen Schleese and his wife Sabine. Jochen Schleese trained with Passier & Son in Germany, and in 1984, he was certified as the youngest Master Saddler ever in Europe. In 1986, he was asked to be the Official Saddler for the World Dressage Championships held just north of Toronto, Canada. Seating is limited, reservations are suggested - the cost is $10.00, which includes light fare and refreshments. You may purchase a ticket in the store.
