David Forbert began his professional career as a U.S. Navy Photographer during World War II, covering the Pacific theater.

Since then, he has 

• been a staff photographer for Reader's Digest International Editions, shooting over 1000 covers for their 30 foreigh editions;
• Freelanced for commercial clients such as IBM, Pfizer, Texaco, American Express, Goodyear, Union Carbide, Bank of America, plus many magazine assignments;
• Owned a stock agency in New York City, representing over 300 photographers.
