Comedy Warriors: Healing Through Humor, is a full-length documentary film featuring five severely injured military service members embarking on a new and challenging journey-standup comedy. Join them as they write and perform their comedy acts, with help from the best in the business, including: Lewis Black, Zach Galifianakis, B.J. Novak and Bob Saget. These Comedy Warriors candidly share their poignant life stories, and the role that humor plays in their rehabilitation. The film culminates in live performances at top Los Angeles comedy clubs: The Improv and the Laugh Factory.
They say laughter is the best medicine, and for the injured servicemen and women featured in the new documentary “Comedy Warriors” healing comes not only through laughing themselves, but through making others laugh as well.
