Blacksmithing: Filing Vise with Derek Heidemann. #967-0723. 2 Days, July 23&24.
Any smith who does a lot of filing understands that a conventional vise doesn't always hold the work the way they need it to. Filing vises allow the work to be held at the offset angles needed for those awkward filing and even riveting applications. This class will teach you how to make your own filing vise.
NOTE: Hard shoes and long pants are required for student's safety.
