Beekman Street First Friday Art Walk - 05/31/2012

First Friday on Beekman Street!!

This Friday, June 1st the shops and galleries of Beekman Street will be hosting visiting artists on our porches and lawns from 6-8 pm with refreshments, live music and "meet the artists" time. We will be joined this Friday by local author, Julianna Spallholz who will be performing short and very short fiction from her debut collection, The State of Kansas. We will also be welcoming Suzanne Balet who will be exhibiting her beautiful collection of pottery. Be sure to stop by the shops and galleries to see the talent of those who call Beekman St. our home… Rena’s Fine Flowers, Lafayette Jewelry, Feneex Boutique, Beekman St Gallery, The Textile Studio and or newest neighbors, Spa City Bicycleworks, Sharon Crute and happenstance. Afterward treat yourself to a cocktail or two and a great meal at one of the Arts District's wonderful restaurants: The Local Pub and Teahouse, The Beekman Street Bistro and The Groggery.
