7th Annual Project Easter Bunny is Hopping- Donations Needed March 1st-11th Floydwarriors.com ?Helping Families Cope with Cancer, One Household at a Time is very pleased to announce its 7th Annual Project Easter Bunny. This effort was begun by floydwarriors.com founder Lisa Morahan after experiencing Easter Sunday in 2009 too ill to make one basket for her son while in chemotherapy. Over the past 6 years this event has grown and in 2015, 414 baskets were created and donated to several oncology centers across the Capital Region including the CR Wood Center at Glens Falls Hospital, Samaritan Hospital in Troy, The Mollie Wilmot Radiation Oncology Center at Saratoga Hospital, The Community Hospice of Saratoga, The Hope Club in Latham, New York Oncology Hematology of Albany and Rexford, Samaritan Hospital, and families helped by To Life! and floydwarriors.com. Donations of new toys and wrapped candy are needed at the following locations: CR Wood Center of Glens Falls Hospital, Pixie Stix inside Wilton Mall, Mollie Wilmot Center of Saratoga Hospital, Malta Community Center, all Ballston Spa National Bank locations, the Hope Club of Latham and NBT Banks of Guilderland, Albany State Street and Albany Wolf Rd. and Schenectady State Street from March 1st-11th. All donations will be collected by volunteers, assembled into baskets on March 19th and delivered to oncology centers the week of March 21st.
