5K Annual Run/Walk for the Horses

Selected as one of 15 Healthy Events this year by the Saratoga Centennial Committee. The certified 5k course, which begins at the Orenda Pavilion at Saratoga State Park, will wind its way throughout the beautiful park. The event will include a Kids Fun Run. Canine companions are welcome to join their owners on the course. Post time for the 5K walk/run will be at 8:30 a.m. There will be refreshments, and prizes in all race/walk divisions. Runners finishing 19th and 15th place will each be presented with a Centennial t-shirt by members from the Centennial Committee. Pre-race registration for the event is $20. Race day registration is $25 Proceeds from this event will benefit five local non-profit Thoroughbred rescues, whose mission is to provide lifetime care and a second career to former racehorses who can no longer compete on the track.
