Follow in the footsteps of Continental soldiers who helped win victory at Saratoga! Find out how the men slept in camp—without tents—and what army rations were like. Meet at Neilson House for special marches to Freeman’s Farm on Saturday, August 13th, at 11am and 2pm which retraces the steps that the soldiers took on their way to the field of battle, followed by a tour of the battle site (length of hike is about 2 miles round trip). Visitors choosing not to make the hike may drive to the Freeman Farm battle site instead.
