The League of Women Voters will present information on why we should be cautious about hydrofracking

A High Price to Pay: The Concern with Hydrofracking will include an overview of the New York State League’s position urging significant strengthening of appropriate regulation, oversight, inspection, and penalties associated with the development of fossil fuel resources. It will also highlight the Sierra Club’s concerns and recommendations. Postcards will be provided for attendees to express their concern regarding the issue.
