The Salvation Army is known by our red kettles and bells... but there is say much more to know...
Our mission is to meet human needs without discrimination. We believe that all persons are worthy of love, care, and concern. All are welcome here!
We know that we cannot meet all needs on our own. Partnering with other agencies and businesses is crucial to our success.
Each year we provide Christmas toys to hundreds of local families. Could your business be a host site to collect toys or distribute "angel tags"?
This Army runs on volunteers. There are so many ways you can get involved.
Our After School Program provides a safe, fun, educational place for kids to come after school.
We have a rich history of serving in disaster zones. From thr frontlines of WW1, to the Pit at Ground Zero, to local tornados and floods. We are ready to serve with love and compassion.
Our outreach efforts provide hope to those in the most dire situations. Each month we have success stories to share about helping people move from homelessness to stability. Follow us on Facebook to get good news stories every month. Facebook.com/saratogasalvationarmy
Being a Bell Ringer is a great way to share Christmas Cheer each year! Volunteer shifts range from 2-10 hours! Volunteer as a group or an individual to make a difference right here in you community.
Joy has an Army. And you can be a part of it too!
