About this position:
The Cash Management Associate supports the Cash Management Officer in the daily banking and cash management needs of commercial and business customers by delivering exceptional customer service and timely solutions. This includes building and maintaining strong relationships with Relationship Managers and business clients, ensuring their unique banking needs are met with tailored solutions. This position ensures efficient resolution of client inquiries, provides guidance on cash management products, and serves as a key liaison between the department and other operational areas of the Bank to support seamless customer service delivery promptly and efficiently. This position is located at our headquarters in Glens Falls, NY.
Essential Functions
> Serve as the primary point of contact for business customers, providing advanced technical, operational, and service support related to cash management and banking services
> Partner with internal business units and external vendors to coordinate service implementation, enhancements, and special projects; proactively communicate updates related to services, rates, fees and system changes while resolving customer concerns
> Prepare, maintain, and administer cash management documentation including service agreements, implementation materials, pipeline report, and activity tracking to support accurate onboarding and ongoing customer support
> Facilitate the setup, implementation, and training of customers on cash management products and services, ensuring smooth onboarding experience, and effective utilization of solutions
> Complete reporting, customer and internal resolution, and participate in Request for Proposal (RFP) responses and presentation under the guidance of the Cash Management Officer[BB1]
> Strengthens and retains business relationships through efficient guidance, issue resolution, and proactive relationship support
> Collaborate with the Director of Business Services and team members on departmental initiatives, process improvements, and special projects; provide cross-functional and back-up support as needed to ensure continuity of service

Education/Certifications:
> Associate’s degree or equivalent professional experience preferred
> 3 years of experience in banking or related field preferred
Skills/Knowledge:
> Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint), with the ability to create and prepare professional documents, operational reports, and effective presentations
> Working knowledge of Banking and cash management products, services, and operational processes; prior Banking or financial services experience preferred
> Demonstrated commitment to delivering exceptional customer service, with the ability to resolve issue effectively, build and maintain strong customer relationships, and recommend tailored solutions
> Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
> Ability to work independently with sound judgement while contributing positively to a collaborative, team-oriented environment
> Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and professionally to customers, colleagues, and management
> Demonstrated ability to quickly learn and apply new technologies, Banking systems, and processes, and adapt to evolving business and customer needs

The salary range for this position is $20.00 - $24.60 per hour commensurate with experience and education.
Additional compensation may be earned through the Company’s incentive programs, subject to individual and company performance.
