Key Ways To Foster Board Engagement: How Successful Non-Profits Build Boards That Work
Presented by Linda Toohey, - Civic Leader, Philanthropist and Board Governance Expert

Your board should be one of your greatest assets, but for many non-profit executives and staff members, it's a source of missed potential. This practical session flips the traditional board governance conversation and puts you in the driver's seat. You'll walk away knowing how to recruit the right people, onboard them effectively, and build a board-staff partnership that moves your mission forward. Whether you're managing your first board or your fifth, or you just want to learn more about how boards work, you'll leave with concrete tools you can use immediately and a clearer picture of how great governance makes your job easier, not harder.
