Events and Communications Coordinator

The Waldorf School of Saratoga Springs is hiring an Events and Communications Coordinator for the 2023 - 2024 school year, to begin in July. 

Responsibilities

This individual is responsible for organizing three major events during the school year: the Jump Into Fall Festival, Winter Auction, and a spring event, and all levels of content creation to promote these events. 

Qualifications

The ideal candidate has experience coordinating an event from concept through advertisement to launch and wrap-up. We are looking for a creative, enthusiastic, caring individual with a strong work ethic and an ability to work collaboratively with others. 

— Experience in project management or event planning

— Experience creating social media content that is engaging and far reaching

— Excellent written and verbal communication skills

— Organized, dependable, punctual

— Ability to work collaboratively and delegate effectively

About WSSS

The Waldorf School of Saratoga Springs was founded in 1981 and currently serves approximately 150 children from preschool through grade twelve. WSSS has an Absolute Charter from the New York State Education Department, is accredited by the New York State Association of Independent Schools (NYSAIS), and is a full member of the Association of Waldorf Schools of North America (AWSNA). Our eclectic downtown campus is spread over three historic buildings, two of which are within walking distance of each other in the small city of Saratoga Springs, NY, while our Early Childhood Forest campus is located on over 300 forested state park acres, 2 miles outside of town.
