Ancillary Revenue Coordinator- SPAC (Saratoga Springs, NY)

The Role: (Seasonal/Part-Time)

 

The Ancillary Revenue Coordinator is a fun and unique position inside our venue. As the lead of the ancillary sales onsite, you will be responsible for communicating to our guests about additional amenities that the venue has to offer, such as VIP Club access and lawn chair rentals. You will work closely with Guest Services and Box office Manager to determine what offers will be available for each show onsite with approval of price points from AGM/Operations Manager. It is the perfect position for someone who is detail oriented and enjoys working independently while still being part of a team.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all sales technology for onsite ancillaries and upsells are in place and functioning properly prior to doors opening.

  • Work closely with AGM/Operations Manager, Marketing, and Box Office for daily concert promotions, upsells, and future ticket deals (pricing, pre-sold numbers, etc).

  • Create/maintain usernames and passwords for night of show sales team.

  • Ensure night of show sales signage is correctly in place for event.

  • Troubleshoot any technology issues throughout each event (SalesDeck, ParkHub, Ticket Scanners, Cash2Card etc).

  • Oversee onsite lawn chairs rentals and redemptions.

  • Proactively manage all lawn chair inventory.

  • Oversee various upsells offered at each event including, but not limited to, Terrace Club, fast lane, VIP club access, lawn upgrades, and premier parking.

  • Handle credit card transactions according to Live Nation's audit guidelines.

  • Inventory - all physical items must be counted prior to the start of and maintained throughout the season.

  • Oversee Cash2Card program (Card inventory, Cash reconciliation)

  • Run reports for GM & Venue Management to reconcile ancillary revenue per show. Communicate numbers to Box Office Manager to add to DOS sales.

  • Participate in post-show clean up including picking up lawn chair rentals and sorting trash/recycling.

  • Track seasonal ancillary sales.

  • Must take full ownership of venue ancillary program and any guest questions pertaining to the program.

 

 

Qualifications:

  • Position requires constant walking, standing and occasional sitting in all weather conditions; lifting/carrying 25+ pounds

  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills

  • Acute sense of judgement, tact and diplomacy

  • Familiar with iPhone/Android technology

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

  • Enjoys interacting with guests

  • Ability to work weekdays, weekends and holidays, including late evenings

  • Availability to work all Live Nation events
