An internationally renowned not-for-profit residential Artist community in Saratoga Springs, New York, offers an exciting culinary opportunity for a creative working chef.
The Head Chef will plan, direct, and supervise all food service and related activities for up to 35 guests daily, and 3-4 special events per year. This individual will manage all aspects of the kitchen and dining room operation, including menu planning, meal preparation, budgeting, and the supervision and training of staff.
The ideal candidate will possess significant culinary experience and have excellent managerial and interpersonal skills. He or she must be a self-starter with a hands-on work style and demonstrated experience in supervision and development of staff.
