Head Mechanic

Saratoga Bridges has an opportunity for someone to make a difference as our Head Mechanic for our fleet of buses and vans.  This is a Monday – Friday position and reports directly to our Transportation Director.  As a Human Service Agency that supports the developmentally disabled keeping our vehicles in good working condition is essential.   This position will complete repairs, inspections, supervise other mechanics, and maintain repair/maintenance records.

Requirements:

Must obtain NYS inspector’s license and Heavy Inspector’s license within 6 months of employment

Physical Demands:

Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Must be able to reach overhead, bend and stand for long periods of time
