Yoga 1
This course will introduce students to the basic philosophy and movements of hatha yoga. You will learn asanas (postures), breathing techniques, and meditation practices used in various disciplines of yoga. Through the development of a regular practice of yoga,you will improve your cardiovascular and muscular strength and endurance, your flexibility and balance, and reap the benefits of relaxation and meditation techniques. Please note: Before starting any exercise program, consult your physician.
