Women TIES Saratoga Mini-Tradeshow & Luncheon
Women TIES is excited to return to Saratoga for a special mini-business tradeshow, networking and educational event for Greater Albany/Saratoga women entrepreneurs. Some of the most successful businesswomen embrace sales. Not only do they recognize selling as a key factor to entrepreneurial success, they learn to welcome hearing “no” in order to move beyond the request to hear “yes.” High achieving saleswomen understand it might take ten rejections to land a sale. Women need stamina, fortitude and a belief in themselves and their companies to withstand the rejection to secure new or repeat business. During this special program Melissa O’Reilly, Founder and CEO of Shush Shoes, based in Schenectady, will share five sales tips which have propelled her to success in her entrepreneurial and business career. Attendees will walk away inspired to make more cold calls and appointments as well as conduct more follow-up to secure business. Don’t miss this excellent advice to make 2012 a more successful business year. Attendees will also have an opportunity to learn more about Women TIES mission, organization and regional marketplace concept to help them market their businesses and meet other amazing women entrepreneurs around New York State. Since March is Women’s History Month, this event will also feature promotional materials tables so women entrepreneurs can showcase and sell a limited amount of products or service certificates. The display space per business will be either 1/3rd of a rectangular table depending on registration numbers. Please tell mention if you are interested in a space. The showcase will run from 11:15 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. with lunch and program following. This event is being co-sponsored by Arbonne International/Sheila Greene.
