June 15 & 16: French and Indian War Encampment
The Sunday evening musical performance, at 5 p.m., features The Racing City Chorus. The group is a 56-year affiliate of the Barbershop Harmony Society, whose membership totals 60 from various parts of upstate New York and Vermont.
This weekend features soldiers of the French and Indian War. The area around Saratoga played a major role in this international conflict, sometimes called America’s first world War. British Regulars, American Provincials, Rogers Rangers and Native Americans will bring this colonial war to life.
