Concert featuring full orchestra, wind ensemble, and string orchestra
The School of Orchestral Studies will present their final concert on August 24 at 2 PM at the Saratoga Performing Arts Center. This school is a component of the New York State Summer School of the Arts, a program of the NYS Education Department. One of seven programs across New York State, the school consists of over 100 talented high school aged musicians who study under the artistic direction of Maestro Luis Biava, Mr. Luis G. Biava, and Dr. Edward Marschilok, as well as with members of the Philadelphia Orchestra. They will perform selections for full orchestra as well as wind ensemble and string orchestra. Attendees will receive a voucher for $5 lawn admission to that night's Philadelphia Orchestra concert at SPAC.
